NX10 is a 10 out of 10!

As an avid golfer, one thing that I've learned in the past 20 years is that success on the course can be influenced by the tools that you have at your disposal. Moving forward, the NX10 will be a key tool in my bag to assist in shooting lower scores on the course. I've used a variety of range finder brands in the past (many of the big-name companies) and the NX10 by Precision Pro is the best I've ever used. When I first unboxed the range finder, I could tell that it was a quality unit. The design is sleek, sophisticated, simple, and well thought out. Buttons are spaced so they're easy to use with a golf glove on and I was pleased to find that there are now really cool customization add-ons you can purchase to change how your NX10 range finder looks. The buttons on the range finder are perfectly placed. It's compact and feels well-built and secure in my hand while being used. Using this range finder is incredibly easy. It vibrates when it picks up the yardage and gives you two separate numbers. One is the distance to an object, the other is the Slope distance when you factor in the elevation change. I can't tell you how great the adaptive slope option is.

The first thing I noticed is how the NX 10 arrived in durable packaging similar to a high quality camera or smart phone. The waterproof (resistant) clam shell storage case has a dust proof zipper for long term storage or elastic band for easy security and access. After playing a few rounds and comparing this model with a dozen different brands, I only have good things to say. For starters, the NX 10 just feels tight and sturdy in your hand. I totally prefer the bullseye optics rather than the crosshair optics found in other big name brands. The distance readings are lightning fast and matched every other model I compared. Powerful magnet for cart mount but I walk so I can't comment on the magnet strength over severely bumpy terrain. Simple yet bomb proof design with slope option and a small vibration when target distance locks in.

NX10 SLOPE RANGEFINDER

The most reliable, no nonsense rangefinder on the market!

This rangefinder was everything I was hoping it would be. Incredibly quick at capturing the target and a strong enough vibration that you know when you've locked it in. It works very well in capturing whatever target it is you're trying to shoot be it a hazard, a flag, or golfers in the group ahead of you. The slope switch is very easy to locate and turn on/off. It is also very obvious which slope setting you have on at the time, which is extremely helpful. By far one of my favorite features of this rangefinder is the magnet. It makes using the NX10 during a round of golf so much easier when you're not worried about taking it in and out of its case. You know right where it is every time. I was never once nervous about the strength of the magnet either, even through rough terrain. Overall, this is the perfect rangefinder for someone who is looking for something with little to no extra nonsense.
